Let’s Discuss Organic (member-only webinar), 9 January, đ±
We are delighted to share that the Letâs Discuss Organic webinar series will be making a comeback in 2024, building on the achievements of our past editions. Be part of our inaugural members-only webinar of the year, titled “Fighting greenwashing with the Green Claims Directive, where does organic fit?“.
- key strategic areas for organic policy frameworks,
- examples of successful national policies that are delivering on central âpush and pullâ objectives: market development, farm innovation, motivating farm transition, public procurement,
- mobilizing local and provincial policy as drivers for organic food and farming,
- cross-cutting objectives for policy development: capacity building in organic organisations, effective financing mechanisms, stakeholder platforms for continual influence & monitoring.
Organic Masterclass Session 1, Crafting narrative strategies for organic, 24 January & 26 January 2024 đ±
The first session of the Organic Masterclass is guided by Kristin Karlsson, a Swedish journalist who specializes in environment, food, and farming. The session aims to help attendees understand how narratives and frames are built, identify existing narratives and frames for agriculture and food, and reclaim the narrative for organic farming.
BIOFACH 2023, 13â16 February, Nuremberg, Germany
The world’s foremost trade fair for organic food, BIOFACH/VIVANESS, is returning with its customary February edition in 2024. IFOAM Organics Europe will be actively involved in BIOFACH, participating as both an exhibitor and a contributor to the congress program. In the upcoming year, IFOAM Organics Europe is gearing up to organize and actively participate in several sessions within BIOFACH’s congress program. ecofruit 2024- International Conference on Organic Fruit Growing, 19-21 February
The 2024 edition of “ecofruit” marks the continuation of the twenty previous gatherings, aiming to unite European researchers, advisors, and practitioners involved in organic fruit. “ecofruit” provides a platform to share and discuss the latest findings related to organic fruit production systems, their enhancements, networking opportunities, and the initiation of new collaborations. Notably, this marks the first occurrence of a hybrid conference, making it an ideal occasion to welcome contributions from around the globe concerning the organic cultivation of temperate fruits.
