Born and raised in the Rhondda, South Wales, Shelley started her career in the arts at the age of 16 as an actor. After three decades of performing and tutoring in both the English and Welsh language she decided to diversify and train to work in production. Shelley has been supported by mentors who have been generous with their guidance and advice, and this has helped to inform her work to date in both languages. She has also benefitted from the support of the ScreenSkills Make a Move scheme on a BBC production. Shelley is excited to see where her time on Leaders of Tomorrow will lead to and looks forward to opportunities that will progress her career into production management.
