Julia was born in Madrid, but at a young age moved to the Dominican Republic. After finishing school, she moved back to Spain and studied History of Art, with a major in film studies. After finishing her MA in cultural management, she expanded her experience working in diverse roles in the creative industries. In 2019, Julia decided to move to London and was accepted at the prestigious NFTS to study the production management diploma. During this time, she got the opportunity to have a work experience in DNEG, where she discovered her love for VFX. Since then, she hasn’t stopped working, focusing her professional career in VFX. Julia has worked for productions such as The Man Who Fell To Earth, which earned an Emmy nomination for outstanding VFX, Lockwood & Co for Netflix and Culprits for Disney Plus.
