3rd Croatian Organic Forum

The Croatian Organic Forum, a major event on organic market in the region that will take place on 18 November, organized by Biovega Ltd in partnership with Croatian Chamber of Economy and Ministry of Agriculture and with lectures by IFOAM – Organics International representatives.

Aim of this event is to educate and to give an overview of trends in Croatian market of organic products, to emphasize the challenges that all the stakeholders share and to highlight the potential and vision for the future of this special market niche in Croatia that is intensively developing over the past twenty years.

This year the main topic of the Forum  regards standards and ensuring quality control of organic products and how they go along with the principles of organic. Find out more in the programme.

The presentations at the Forum will be given by eminent Croatian experts in organic business, scientists, IFOAM – Organics International’s executive director Markus Arbenz, organic farmers and activists as well as experts in certification and controlling.

The conference gathers representatives of organic business in Croatia, relevant institutions and the media representatives.

Prior to the Conference, Konrad Hauptfleisch, the manager of the IFOAM – Organics International Academy will conduct 2-day workshop for organic farmers.
