Ana Mlynarska has a degree in Editing (drama and documentary) from The Polish National Film School in Lodz, where she was awarded a scholarship and graduated with distinction.

Whilst there she was tutored by some of Polandʼs most respected editors, including J.Kaminski: Ida – (Oscar winner 2018), Cold War (Cannes 2019), Quo Vadis, Aida (Bafta nominee 2021) After graduation from Lodz, Ana became a sought-after editor in Poland cutting feature documentaries, feature film trailers, pilots, short films and reality TV (Bake Off, Married at First Sight).

Now based in London, she has moved into cutting drama and has worked as an editor on Bafta Nominated show Unforgotten V.

She worked as an assembly editor on the HBO show Strikeback and the BBC show Malory Towers.

Ana recently cut ‘Shalborne,’ an independent feature film period drama set in 1902, directed by and starring Caroline Corrie (John Adams) and the BFI funded short film ‘Mermaids.’

She has gained a vast experience in TV working as a First assistant editor on highly acclaimed series such as The Crown, Discovery of Witches and SAS: Rogues Heroes.

Ana is an associate member of the British Film Editors Guild (BFE) and Bafta Connect.
